Salma Soliman, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Founder of Brave You Therapy

With over a decade of experience in mental health care, Salma Soliman, LCSW, brings both deep expertise and heartfelt dedication to her work. As the founder of Brave You Therapy, Salma is passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and families to discover their resilience, build meaningful connections, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Salma specializes in treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma, using a strengths-based approach rooted in evidence-based modalities. Her clinical foundation includes

Before founding Brave You Therapy, Salma served as a clinical instructor at the University of Southern California and provided therapy and supervision at the UCSD Eating Disorder Treatment and Research Center. In both roles, she was deeply involved in supporting individuals and families through structured, compassionate care and leading multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Salma holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Rutgers University. Today, she provides virtual therapy for clients across California and New Jersey, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing begins—one brave step at a time.
